Reality VS Expectation

The
Original
version

1. Eskinol was used AFTER a full make-up face (supposed to be used before)

2.  The cotton ball was too dirty, it was unreal especially when the face was washed  already

3.  Maine's face was edited, her face was seamless and artificial

The
Recreated
version
  1. Eskinol was used without/before putting make-up

  2. The cotton pad was soiled but not too dirty

  3. though with make-up, the face was not edited in anyway

Ready to Shoot

Directing and recreating the commercial was not too difficult, however the problem we encountered was not having a large screen or tv to help us compare from the original commercial.

Photoshoot Setup

This was another problem, we had no artificial lighting but we improvised by using foil sunshades mostly used in cars. We had a decent lighting but back shadow was a problem since we shot at night.

Shooting Down

Acting is easy to imagine but hard to execute. If we act in front of a mirror it is easier since we see our best angle and good facial expressions, but in front of a camera without a mirror? It was pretty difficult to be honest but we finally pulled it off with good editing and video effects.
